In additional exploring Antelope Canyon with a Navajo guide, you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend.
A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away. Enjoy a local eatery in Page as well as a Navajo Trading Post along the day's route!

1. Check your email (and spam folder) for any important messages from DETOURS American West, the local tour operator. DETOURS cannot be held accountable if you do not check your emails.
2. You must contact DETOURS American West, the local tour operator, regarding your pick up location AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR DATE at 1-480-633-9013. Your pick up time will be between 4-5am, however, DETOURS will EMAIL you the afternoon before your tour with an exact pick up time.
3. Hotel pick up is not guaranteed, even if you are staying at a hotel within the pick up zone. There IS a chance you will have to meet at another location for pick up. You are responsible for getting yourself to the pick up location.
4. Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own.
5. This tour is non-refundable. No exceptions made for canceled flights or illness.
6. Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
7. If the Antelope Canyon portion of the day tour is cancelled last minute due to unforeseen weather, only that portion of the tour cost will be refunded ($67/person). DETOURS does our best to accommodate for rescheduling based on weather forecasts.

Route 66
From the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, our route takes us through the Sonoran Desert up into the picturesque mountain town of Flagstaff. This historic Route 66 town lies at the base of the largest mountain range in Arizona, the San Francisco Peaks, which we will be able to gaze upon as we continue to travel north to the Lake Powell region. Please note, Flagstaff has an elevation of 7,000 feet so take note if you have concerns about altitude.

Lower Antelope Canyon

Upon arrival to Page, Arizona, we will begin our tour of spectacular Lower Antelope Canyon. Here we will tour Lower Antelope Canyon with a local Navajo guide who will lead you through the amazing natural formations of this world-famous slot canyon. The photo opportunities will be second to none! In addition to touring Lower Antelope Canyon, we also include photo stops of Lake Powell before stopping for a group lunch in Page at one of their unique eateries.

Horseshoe Bend

After our time in Antelope Canyon and Page, we will embark upon a scenic one-mile walk to Horseshoe Bend Overlook which is highlighted by awe-inspiring views into this deeply carved channel and the Colorado River below. Photos from the edge of this natural beauty are widespread across the world and are nothing short of amazing.

- ***In rare occasions, Lower Antelope will close due to unforeseen weather events. Although we closely monitor the weather, sometimes the closure is beyond our control and happens last minute. If this happens, we will try to get tickets for UPPER Antelope but this will incur an additional fee of up to $60 per person. You will be able to choose to opt out of the Antelope portion if you do not wish to pay this fee but you will NOT be refunded for the overall tour, except for $73.
